The innovative Cartoni  e-JIBO, an encoded portable 3-section jib for versatility and cost-effectiveness.

With its three easily mountable sections the e-Jibo, enables swift assembly or disassembly in under 3 minutes. Beyond traditional pan and tilt movements, it introduces diagonal tracking and elevation, adding creativity to your shooting possibilities.


Weighing 15 kg (33 lbs) and folding down to a compact 1.2 meters (47″), the e-Jibo facilitates shooting from ground level to an impressive height of 2 meters (78″), extending up to 172 cm (67”9). The extendable rear arm, accommodating up to 25 kg of rubberized gym weights for counterbalance, ensures precise camera equilibrium.


The front telescopic arm grants the Cartoni e-Jibo adaptability in various shooting positions. The fluid head supporting the camera can be mounted in a variety of positions, allowing for under-slung or side-ways orientations. The front tongue can support 75mm, 100mm bowl heads or Mitchel flat base heads.

The camera and zoom remote controls can be clamped on the optional T-bar accessory.

The  e-Jibo interfaces with any 100mm bowl base tripod. For heavier configurations, a Mitchell base adapter and a 150mm bowl base adapter are available.

The Cartoni encoded e-Jibo  for VR and AR applications is equipped with 4 Million Count/Revolution absolute encoders for both Pan and Elevation axis. There is no need for calibration.

Ideal to collect position metadata and facilitate the workflow in SFX.


Cartoni encoded e-Jibo is designed to be used with the Cartoni Virtual Box (ordered separately), but the extreme flexibility allows them to be easily integrated into any system, by connecting directly to the encoder via the Lemo connectors on the panel.
